The
Datil Pepper has been grown in St. Augustine, Florida for over 200 years. It is said a green thumb to grow and the pepper has been tried in other regions with little success. The heat index is similar to a habanero, and is often used in hot sauces, chutneys, marinades and salsas. The Datil Pepper has a uniquely sweet and citrus flavor which compliments many recipes. Enjoy!
